The Wisconsin Bird Conservation Initiative posted this map this morning, with this to say:

"The NW winds moved millions of birds down the Mississippi and Centrral "Flyways" last night. Southern Wisconsin is at its peak right now for Fall warbler diversity. Time to streatch your neck muscles and get out there to your favorite migration stopover site!"

What this means to you: If you're looking to do any catching up of missed Wood Warblers from the Spring Migration, get out to the blue, green, and yellow areas and get birding! In the last few days in Saint Joseph, MO alone, we've banded such beauties as Bay-breasted, Nashville, Canada, and Chestnut-sided Warblers! (Pictures to come, of course.)

Happy birding!
